PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), also known as KAI, has unveiled its rigorous selection process for the 2024 Management Trainee Program, aimed at attracting top-tier talent to fuel the company’s growth. Graduates aspiring to join this prestigious program must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an A-accredited university, with a remarkable GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
In addition to academic excellence, proficiency in the English language is deemed essential, with a minimum TOEFL score of 500. Raden Agus Dwinanto Budiadji, Executive Vice President of Corporate Secretary at KAI, emphasized that these stringent prerequisites are crucial for identifying and nurturing future leaders within the organization.
Upon successful completion of the Management Trainee Program, candidates can anticipate lucrative career prospects, with monthly salaries ranging from Rp 25 to 35 million. However, ascending to managerial roles within KAI’s organizational hierarchy necessitates a gradual career progression, ensuring that individuals are equipped with the necessary skills and experience to excel in their roles.
“The Management Trainee Program offers a unique pathway for career advancement, providing participants with accelerated growth opportunities and exposure to diverse aspects of the railway industry,” remarked Budiadji during a press briefing held in Central Jakarta on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Participants who emerge from the Management Trainee Program will embark on a tailored career trajectory, distinct from traditional recruitment pathways. These individuals will benefit from specialized acceleration programs designed to expedite their career progression and enhance their leadership capabilities.
“While the journey towards managerial positions may be challenging, it is immensely rewarding. Through continuous learning and development initiatives, employees will be empowered to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to KAI’s success,” affirmed Budiadji.
