Singapore – Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence unit of Alibaba Group, has announced a new investment of more than USD 60 million for the current fiscal year. The funds are earmarked to strengthen its global partner ecosystem and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across markets.
The investment will be allocated to collaborative marketing initiatives, performance incentives, partner rebates, and capability-building programs. The overarching objective is to empower partners to scale their customer base, deepen technical expertise, and facilitate advanced AI and cloud adoption for enterprises worldwide.
“Our partners are catalysts of customer success,” said Raymond Ma, Vice President of Global Partners & Alliances at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “This significant investment reflects our commitment to joint growth. By equipping our partners with world-class resources, tailored incentives, and direct access to advanced AI technologies such as our proprietary Large Language Model, Qwen, we’re not just expanding distribution—we’re co-creating a synergistic ecosystem to accelerate digital transformation globally.”
As part of the broader initiative, Alibaba Cloud introduced new strategic partnerships and extended several existing collaborations.
In the AI and data platform category, new integrations include:
- Dify, a platform for building agentic AI applications, now available via Alibaba Cloud Global Marketplace as Dify Enterprise.
- Squirro, which brings its Gen AI Platform to Alibaba Cloud users through an integrated offering.
- PingCAP, the developer of TiDB, a distributed SQL database, joins the ecosystem to enhance scalable data management.
On the systems integrator and global reseller front, Alibaba Cloud has expanded partnerships with:
- Atos, under a new international reseller agreement building on its role as a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Crayon, through its Singapore and Philippines operations, appointed as a regional reseller for Southeast Asia.
- DXC Technology, collaborating to deliver cloud and AI solutions across Asian markets.
In Indonesia, the company announced strategic cooperation with Bespin Global Indonesia, designated as an official MSP partner, and with Electrum Cloud, part of the CloudMile Group, to deliver localized AI solutions, technical support, and AI talent development programs.
Currently, Alibaba Cloud collaborates with over 12,000 partners globally, including industry leaders such as Salesforce, Fortinet, IBM, and Neo4j.
This new investment underlines the company’s ambition to lead AI adoption by creating a distributed, collaborative innovation ecosystem—with scalable access to cloud-native infrastructure, enterprise-grade AI solutions, and ecosystem-wide capacity building.
