Jakarta, July 19, 2025 – At the 8.0 Award Trends Summit 2025 in Jakarta, Didiek Hendraleka, CEO and President Director of Kumis Group, received two notable awards: Best in Company Award 2025 and Excellent Entrepreneur Award 2025. The recognition highlights leadership and operational excellence. While the accolades are significant, they form part of a broader narrative about Kumis Group’s steady expansion into sectors that reflect global economic shifts.
Kumis Group manages five business entities with combined assets of approximately IDR 650 billion (USD 42 million). The company operates in construction, logistics, supply chain, and the trade of POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) and PAO (Palm Acid Oil). These commodities are increasingly in demand for renewable energy production, placing the company at the intersection of traditional industry and the green transition.

The group’s infrastructure includes a network of mini-plants across Sumatra and Kalimantan, providing both supply reliability and operational efficiency. Its strategic collaboration with Terrafusion Energy Pte. Ltd., in which Kumis Group holds a 40% stake as lead operator, aims to develop HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) production facilities. HVO is regarded as a viable sustainable fuel for aviation and heavy transport and is gaining traction in both ASEAN and global markets.
Beyond energy and commodities, diversification is a key pillar of Kumis Group’s strategy. The company’s property division launched Nusa Persada View in Bogor in 2017. This residential project is inspired by traditional Indonesian design and was supported by a working capital facility of IDR 160 billion. The initiative reflects an adaptive approach to market opportunities, balancing high-growth sectors with stable long-term investments.
Global demand for renewable energy sources combined with evolving trade dynamics in the palm oil industry provides a strong foundation for Kumis Group’s initiatives. By integrating commodity supply, logistics infrastructure, and energy innovation, the company is positioning itself to capture value in both established and emerging markets.
As global economies navigate the transition toward sustainability, Kumis Group’s strategic direction under Didiek Hendraleka offers an example of how to balance profitability with environmental responsibility.
