49 Companies and One CEO Honored at the 2025 Bisnis Indonesia Awards for Resilience and Impact

Jakarta, Indonesia – On June 30, 2025, Bisnis Indonesia Group held its 23rd annual Bisnis Indonesia Awards (BIA), honoring 49 companies and one outstanding CEO for exceptional performance, innovation, and resilience amid today’s economic uncertainty. Themed “Resilience Towards Uncertainty”, the event spotlighted businesses that have demonstrated strategic strength, adaptability, and sustainable growth in challenging times.

The awards recognize listed and non-listed companies traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with categories spanning across banking, non-bank industries, and special recognitions, including four Special Awards and the coveted CEO of the Year honor.

This year, Darmawan Junaidi, President Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, was named CEO of the Year, recognized for his visionary leadership in driving Mandiri’s transformation and delivering record-breaking results amid global macroeconomic turbulence. “This recognition is not only an honor but a validation of the transformative path we’ve taken,” Darmawan said during the ceremony.

In his keynote speech, Hariyadi B. Sukamdani, President Commissioner of Bisnis Indonesia, emphasized that uncertainty should no longer be viewed as a hindrance, but rather a catalyst for innovation and adaptive strategy. He reaffirmed Bisnis Indonesia’s role as a key economic media institution committed to supporting Indonesia’s business ecosystem—now expanded into a digital-integrated platform encompassing Bisnis.com, Context.id, Hypeabis.id, DataIndonesia.id, and more.

Rohan Hafas, Managing Director of Stakeholders Management at BPI Danantara, echoed the importance of resilience. “In times of volatility, investment is key—not just for recovery, but for long-term economic foundations. Danantara is ready to catalyze policy and investment execution through public-private synergy,” he said, highlighting the critical role of co-investment models and investment policy consistency.
