Many believe that the recipe for wealth involves hard work. However, Francisco Rivera, a Florida native, challenges this notion. Rivera has demonstrated that it’s possible to amass wealth by working for just 20 minutes a day. It may sound implausible, but this is precisely the reality for Francisco. At the age of 26, he earns a staggering $38,500 or around Rp617 million per month, working for only 20 minutes. Originally a tutoring teacher, Rivera had to adapt due to post-Covid changes, leading him to explore new avenues. Eventually, he ventured into the print-on-demand business.
Rivera chose to focus on organic candle business, printing them based on purchases from the e-commerce platform Etsy. Speaking to CNBC Make It, Rivera revealed that his workload significantly decreased compared to his tutoring days, with just 20 minutes of work daily, sometimes extending to two hours during peak business times.
Despite the short work hours, CNBC Make It reports that Rivera’s business rakes in a profit of $462,000 annually or Rp7 billion. Translating to monthly earnings, he pulls in $38,500 or Rp 617 million. Rivera attests that his entrepreneurial venture is highly lucrative, stating, “I’m making more money than I’ve ever made, and I’m spending less time than I ever have.”
He attributes such substantial profits to the print-on-demand model, emphasizing its minimal risk. Rivera notes that listing a product on Etsy costs a mere $0.20, supplemented by borrowing a Canva Pro account for $120. However, Rivera stresses that success in this business requires both financial investment and unwavering determination and consistency. Rivera poses a rhetorical question, questioning why consistency in the traditional workday isn’t applied to entrepreneurship. Additionally, he highlights the importance of seizing opportunities and researching products with high demand and minimal failure risks when embarking on a business journey, even without prior experience.
