Jakarta — PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PT PP) has clinched contracts totaling Rp11.23 trillion to undertake various projects in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) until March 2024. Yul Ari Pramuraharjo, Director of Infrastructure Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, revealed this significant milestone during a press conference at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/4).
Yul Ari highlighted the diverse progress of IKN’s development, expressing aspirations for completing the infrastructure in the new capital before August 17. “As of now, our progress in IKN is predominantly under construction. Among the ongoing projects, those scheduled for completion by August include the VVIP IKN airport, the 3B toll road, the West National Axis, the Mosque access road, and the 6C toll road,” Yul Ari stated.
Meanwhile, PT PP has successfully concluded several work packages in the Core Government Center (KIPP) Areas I and II. “We’ve recently completed the infrastructure in Core Government Center (KIPP) areas one and two,” he elaborated.
Yuyus Juarsa, Director of Building Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, provided further insights into the ongoing expansion in the new capital. “In our ongoing projects, we’re focusing on the Presidential Palace, ASN apartments, and the Bank Indonesia office complex. Progress varies across these projects, with completion percentages ranging from 20 to around 60 or 80 percent, with targets set for August 2024,” Yuyus shared. In a specific context, Basuki emphasized the development of the drinking water network in Nusantara IKN, aiming for completion by June 2024. Additionally, there are plans for the construction of 2,585 apartment units in IKN Nusantara, primarily designated for Civil Servants (ASN) and Military/Police personnel relocating to the new capital. Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing aims to continue building ministerial residences, including 36 presidential assistant residences, by the specified timelines.
